There was a twitter update that was sent by Goldstein (http://twitter.com/DJ_AM) moments before he was found dead at the age of 36 in his SOHO apartment.
His last words, a warning, a haunting omen? DJ AM quoted a Grandmaster Flash song saying...
"New York, new york. Big city of dreams,
but everything in new york
ain't always what it seems"

and sent it to the 100,000+ followers he had amassed on twitter.
* Judging by the time the update was sent and the time his body was found, one can only conclude that Goldstein was high at the time. I also find it to be a testament to the power of twitter that a well known individual would communicate with the world moments before leaving it.

definitely haunting omen... im one of those people that belive haunting messages like this lead to a series of clues... and in about half an hours time, the help of a taling dog, a stoner with a soul patch, a blonde dude with an ascot, a preppy blonde chick, and a nerdy shorter chick... and a van... we can SOLVE THIS MYSTERY!!!
