Recipe: Strawberry Arnold Palmer (Summer in a Glass)

Come and git yo Historilogical Lesson Childrenz!
This is Arnold Palmer
Ain't he nice!
In the late 1960s, in a bar in Palm Springs California, Mr. Palmer ordered a mixture of lemonade and iced tea and a woman seated next to him overheard his order and said, “I’ll have that Palmer drink.” The drink then spread across the golfing world and became known as an “Arnold Palmer.”

On a Hot Summer day you can find relief in a Tall Glass of Strawberry Arnold Palmer (that's fancy talk for... lemonade mixed with iced-tea, and you dump in a little strawberry pulp)

Ingredients: ~4 Strawberries (or strawberry puree), Ice, Lemonade, Iced Tea

Step 1:
Cut the stems off of the strawberries, and slice them in half. Then you will put them into the glass and using a fork ->
You mash the shit out of those strawberries (aka
Muddle).

The more mashed the better, because the bits will float around and add flavor to the whole concoction... now you've made a Strawberry Puree

Step 2
: I would add a quarter cup (depending on the glass you are using) of the Lemonade before the Ice... this will give you the chance to mix it up and make sure the strawberry pulp is floating all about.

Step 3:
Add the Ice! and mix... leave a little room for a 1/4 iced tea
GAME OVER ... YOU WIN

And the bonus round!?!?!
Leave a little extra room for 4oz of your favorite VODKA! This is a good thing that is happening. You have advanced to a whole new level. No one can beat your high score! EVER!!!
EVER!!!

"I do not know if you remember the tale of the girl who saves the ship under mutiny by sitting on the powder barrel with her lighted torch and all the time knowing that it is empty? This has seemed to me a charming image of the women of my time. There they were, keeping the world in order by sitting on the mystery of life, and knowing themselves that there was no mystery."
